Christina has been an Administrative Assistant in OESO Administration for ten years. Each year Christina has mastered a different task and each year she asks if there is something new with which she can be of assistance. Interestingly, while she takes on new tasks, she never seems to get rid of the previously established ones. Her hallmark response to additional work requests is “no problem”.

Christina was selected as the OESO Employee of the Quarter for her recent work which included processing an extraordinarily large number of personnel actions, including terminations, recruitment efforts, and FLMA leave of absences. While these activities are part of her responsibilities, the volume last quarter was unusually large and she completed all requests in a timely manner, without problems and with a positive attitude. In addition, last quarter was the end of the fiscal year and she successfully oversaw the closure of all seven of OESO budgets and ensured that all last minutes purchases were processed on time and all outstanding payments were made by the accounting period deadline – no small feat. Employees like Christina make everyone else look good and are worth their weight in gold.
