Animal Care and Use Protocol Wizard

Welcome to the Radiation Safety Animal Care and Use Protocol Wizard!

You can use the Wizard to assist you in completing the Protocol Application Form required by the Duke University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (DUIACUC). If you use radiation sources or radioactive materials in your research, the Wizard points out the pertinent parts of Section VII-D ("Procedures - Hazardous Agents") of the latest version of the Protocol Application Form and suggests model procedures for the protection of personnel and animals, as required by the Occupational and Environmental Safety Office.

To begin, check off all the types of RADIATION SOURCES and RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL that you will use in this protocol and click the 'NEXT' button.
