Opening The 'Page1.htm' File in Word |
Once the file is saved, you can open it with a word-processing program, such as Microsoft Word. To open the file, first open Word, go to "File" on the menu bar, click "Open..." and navigate to the folder containing "Page1.htm". Make sure the "Files of type:" box is set to "All Files (*.*)". Select "Page1.htm" and click "Open".
For best results, you should edit the file as a Word document (*.doc) file. For example, you will find that you can't insert page breaks into an HTML document. To convert the file, go to the "File" menu item and click on "Save As Word Document..." and save the file. You can now edit it properly.
Use the "Back" button on your browser to return to the Main Page.
