Employee Recognition Program

OESO values their employees and their dedicated efforts in promoting a safe environment for the Duke Community and providing the highest level of customer service. In order to promote and encourage these values, OESO intends to reward through recognition the efforts of those employees who:

Consistently demonstrate exceptional work performance
Contribute positively to the OESO/Duke work environment
Promote a culture of excellence at OESO that motivates all employees to top-level performance
Promote OESO’s mission and vision within the department
Encourage employees, through their performance, to promote OESO’s values throughout Duke by:
- Demonstration of the value of safety in the work environment
- Cultivation of partnerships within Duke departments
- Examples of positive safety culture behaviors
- Reinforcement of safe behavior

If you would like to recognize an OESO staff member who embodies any or all of these qualities, fill out the online OESO Employee Recognition Form.

All employees who receive recognition will be part of the Employee of the Quarter (EOQ) pool for the quarter in which they were recognized. The four EOQs are automatically selected to qualify for EOY. The OESO EOY is selected every year in July.
