LABS101 - Hazard Communication Training for Laboratory Personnel
Course Description:
This training covers OSHA’s Hazard Communication requirements, which are based on the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of classifying and labeling chemical products. This system will be referred to as GHS throughout the training. This training is intended to give you a basic understanding of the hazards presented by chemical products, where you can find safety information about the chemicals you use, how to recognize if you are being exposed to a chemical hazard, and finally, basic information about how to protect yourself from chemical exposures.
